Be clear about who can see it
Field and compliance records often include names, signatures, and sometimes photos of people. Access to that information should be limited to people who actually need it for the job.
Store it securely, and don't keep it forever
Data captured in the field should be stored securely and only retained for as long as there's a genuine business or legal reason to keep it.
