Why Horn Dev exists
Many local businesses are held back by the same problems: no functioning website, an inaccurate or missing Google listing, and admin processes that consume more time than they should. Fixing these does not require a large agency — it requires direct, competent execution by people who actually care about the outcome.
Horn Dev is part of Horn Software Architects (HSA) — a broader software and technology practice. HSA is where the deeper research, tooling, and methodology behind Horn Dev's work is developed and refined.
How engagements work
Every project is scoped, quoted, and delivered directly by Petrus and Jillian — there is no account-management layer or subcontracting. Pricing is fixed and agreed in writing before work begins. Where a request falls outside Horn Dev's scope, that is stated plainly, including a referral elsewhere where appropriate.

Petrus brings decades of experience in manufacturing, management, software architecture, and systems thinking. His focus is helping businesses make informed technology decisions based on evidence rather than assumptions. He leads HSA's engineering today.

Jillian works closely with clients to understand their goals, challenges, and opportunities. Her focus is ensuring every project remains aligned with business outcomes, not just technical requirements. She leads HSA's direction and client relationships today.
